POSITION DETAILS:
Location: Bellevue WA
Employment type: Full-time
Salary: $78,000-$90,000
EMPLOYMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
- May erect machines and equipment on-site
- Studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settings
- Forming metal stock and castings to fine tolerances using machining tools to press, cut, grind, plane, bore and drill metal
- Setting guides, stops and other controls on machining tools, setting up prescribed cutting and shaping tools and dies in machines and presses, and setting controls for textile machines
- Support continuous improvement and quality outcomes
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Maintain accurate records relevant to the role
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certificate III including at least two years of relevant experience, or Certificate IV. At least 3 years of relevant experience may be accepted in place of the formal qualification.
- More than proficient in one off / jobbing programming and set up (mandatory)
- Edgecam experience advanced (mandatory)
- Advanced experience with Okuma and Mazak 5 axis machining centres; (Mandatory)
- Ability to run multiple machines (mandatory)
- A motivated can-do attitude
- Relevant experience may also be required.
