The Opportunity
We're looking for a motivated Graduate Accountant to join our finance team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. This is a genuine career-starting opportunity for someone who wants hands-on exposure to management reporting, compliance, payroll and systems improvement inside a well-established, growing national business.

What You'll Do 
• Assist with monthly management reporting, financial analysis and the month-end/year-end close. 
• Prepare journals, perform account reconciliations and maintain the Fixed Asset Register.
• Support payroll processing and statutory obligations, including PAYG, BAS, FBT and superannuation. 
• Contribute to finance system enhancements and process improvement initiatives. • Work closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team on real, varied accounting work from day one. 
What We're Looking For 
• A tertiary qualification in accounting or a related discipline. 
• A genuine ambition to build a long-term career in accounting. • Up to two years' experience in finance, project accounting or a public practice firm is well regarded, but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and great attention to detail. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Confident Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
