Mechanical Engineer – Data Centre HVAC
- Design and engineer HVAC, cooling and ventilation systems for data centres.
- Perform cooling load calculations and equipment selection.
- Commission cooling systems and ensure project delivery from inception to handover.
About the role:
Reporting to the Delivery Manager, you will work on projects from inception, to commissioning, and handover and be responsible for designing and engineering HVAC, cooling and ventilation systems for UPS, battery rooms, switchrooms, generators, modular systems and data centres.
You will possess:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong experience of designing HVAC/cooling of critical infrastructure (ideally, data centres)
- Experience performing cooling load calculations and equipment
- Experience designing and/or commissioning cooling systems, ideally within data centres
- Knowledge of UPS, battery, switchgear or other electrical infrastructure will be highly regarded
- Experience of site-based commissioning
