Full-Time Cabinet Maker Required
- Manufacture, assemble and fit custom cabinetry and joinery for residential and commercial projects.

Boardfun Solution Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team. You will manufacture, assemble and fit custom cabinetry and joinery for residential and commercial projects, working from drawings and specifications to achieve accurate dimensions and a high-quality finish.
What you’ll be doing
- Read and interpret drawings, job sheets and specifications to determine cabinetry dimensions, materials and production requirements.
- Select and inspect timber, manufactured boards, laminates and hardware suitable for each project.
- Measure, mark and cut materials to prepare cabinet panels, shelving, doors, drawers and other components.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand and power tools to cut, shape, drill and prepare cabinetry components.
- Assemble cabinets and joinery using appropriate joints, adhesives, screws and other fastening methods.
- Apply edging and laminates, and prepare surfaces for the required finish.
- Fit and adjust doors, drawers, hinges, runners, handles and other hardware to ensure smooth operation and accurate alignment.
- Manufacture kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, vanities, storage units and other custom joinery according to project requirements.
- Carry out site measurements and assist with installation, trimming and adjustments where required.
- Check completed work against drawings and quality standards, and rectify defects or dimensional discrepancies.
- Work with designers, production staff and installers to resolve practical issues and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain tools and equipment and keep the work area clean and safe.
What we’re looking for
- A relevant trade qualification in cabinet making or a related discipline, or substantial relevant experience demonstrating equivalent skills.
- A minimum of two years of relevant cabinet-making experience.
- Practical skills in cutting, machining, assembling and fitting cabinetry.
- The ability to read technical drawings and work accurately to measurements and specifications.
- Experience using woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s licence for travel to project sites where required.
