We are currently seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to work in Adelaide, Perth or Sydney to provide legal counsel, trusted advice & strategic business partnering.

The Opportunity

• Lead management of legal disputes, investigations and external legal advisers

• Provide strategic legal, governance, compliance & risk management leadership to the organisation

• Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to:

  • Support business objectives & protect the organisation's interests

  • Ensure compliance with legal & regulatory obligations

  • Oversee corporate governance & company secretarial activities

  • Enable effective decision-making across the business

• Develop & continuously improve legal frameworks, policies & contract management processes

• Act as Company Secretary for the Board, Board Committees & subsidiary entities

About you - Essential

• Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB)

• Admitted Australian Legal Practitioner

• Current unrestricted practising certificate

• Minimum 7 years' post-qualification experience (PQE)

• Demonstrated experience providing legal, commercial, governance & regulatory advice to senior stakeholders

• Accepting of regular interstate travel

• Current work rights in Australia
