Woods & Co have partnered with an established Geelong based residential builder who is looking to bring an experienced Sales Consultant into their team. This is a genuine sales role for someone who understands the new homes market, knows how to build trust with customers and is passionate about what they do.
You'll be based out of a high quality display home, meeting customers who are actively considering building and helping them navigate what can often be a overwhelming process. From the first discussion through to contract, you'll be the person customers rely on to bring their vision together, provide the right advice and ultimately get the deal across the line.
The ideal person will bring a strong volume building background but we would also love to see experience selling custom or more bespoke homes. That combination is important as you will need to be comfortable working with customers who want the efficiencies and value of a volume builder while also being able to understand individual requirements.
The Role:
Working from a Geelong based display, you will be responsible for:
- Welcoming and engaging with customers visiting the display
- Qualifying leads and understanding each customers individual needs alongside the Sales Associate
- Guiding customers through the home design and building process
- Preparing proposals and working through pricing and inclusions
- Managing your customer pipeline and following up consistently
- Building strong relationships throughout the sales journey
- Negotiating and converting opportunities into signed contracts
- working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover
- Achieving and ideally exceeding monthly and annual targets
About You:
We're looking for someone who is already established within the new homes industry and can hit the ground running.
You'll ideally have:
- Proven experience as a New Homes Sales Consultant
- A strong track record of achieving sales targets and converting leads
- Experience working for a residential builder
- Exposure to custom, premium or bespoke home sales would be highly regarded
- Strong understanding of the residential construction and building process
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Confidence discussing floor plans, pricing, inclusions and building options
- Strong negotiation and closing ability
- A proactive approach to following up leads and managing your pipeline
Most importantly, you will be someone who enjoys what you do. You'll know that success in the industry isn't just about having a great display home but it's about understanding the customer themselves.
