Are you a proactive Credit or Accounts Receivable professional who enjoys taking ownership and working independently?
Our client, a well-established business based in Malaga, is seeking an experienced Credit Officer to join their team. This is a varied, hands-on role that will see you involved across all aspects of the credit function, from banking and allocations through to collections, account maintenance, and customer liaison.
You'll be trusted to manage your own workload and ledger while having the backing and support needed to succeed. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an autonomous environment, takes initiative, and enjoys being accountable for outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- High-volume daily banking and allocations
- End-to-end collections management across a diverse customer base
- Opening new accounts and processing credit applications
- Reviewing customer credit limits and account risk
- Reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Managing customer queries and ensuring timely resolution
- Posting journals and maintaining accurate account records
- Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
About You
- Previous experience in a Credit, Accounts Receivable, or Collections role
- Strong AR skills with proven experience managing a ledger
- A self-starter who can work autonomously and take ownership of their responsibilities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Confident communicator with a professional customer approach
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
