Full-Time Position
Orana Motor Inn is seeking a qualified and experienced Hotel and Motel Manager (ANZSCO ******) to oversee the daily operations of our motel in Irymple, Victoria. This is a full-time position offering a genuine career opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional.
- Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall daily operations of the hotel/motel, ensuring efficient and consistent service delivery across all departments
- Supervise reservations, reception, front office, room service, housekeeping, maintenance and security operations
- Coordinate food and beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, conference and function facilities
- Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate staff to maintain high standards of customer service
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, control purchasing and oversee accounting activities
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, gaming legislation, workplace health and safety requirements and other relevant statutory regulations
- Monitor guest feedback, respond to enquiries and complaints, and implement service improvements as required
- Provide guests with local tourism information and assist with arranging tours, transport and other guest services
Skills and Qualifications
- AQF Associate Degree, Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma in Hospitality, Business or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
- Proven experience as a Hotel/Motel Manager, Hospitality Manager, Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, or in a similar management role
- Demonstrated ability to manage accommodation services, guest services, food and beverage operations and staff supervision
- Strong leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work full-time on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays as required
