Electrical Capability Coordinator

Alchemy Recruitment is partnering with a state government client to support them in recruiting for an Electrical Capability Coordinator (ITS & Electrical) on a 12 month contract based on the Gold Coast.
About the role:
- Coordinate technical training and competency activities across electrical, ITS&E and civil electrical disciplines
- Maintain training plans, competency records, learning resources and assessment evidence
- Support delivery of civil electrical training, including content maintenance and practical learning support
- Coach and provide technical guidance to apprentices, trainees, electrical workers, project managers and supervisors
- Contribute to training centre continuous improvement, competency pathways and succession planning
Preferred Requirements:
- Current, valid Queensland Electrical Work Licence, Electrical Mechanic
- Genuinely Gold Coast based, this is a firm requirement
- Current C class driver’s licence
- Comfortable with a criminal history check as part of onboarding
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a current equivalent
- Experience in workplace health and safety, auditing or incident investigation
- Experience delivering electrical safety training in civil or electrical construction/maintenance environments
- Experience conducting electrical safety and quality audits or supporting workplace investigations
