Build on your Engineering Fabrication skills. Skillinvest is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to undertake an Engineering Fabrication Apprenticeship with Fablec Pty Ltd in Bordertown. This opportunity is open to applicants at various stages of their apprenticeship journey, with candidates who can demonstrate existing fabrication and welding skills encouraged to apply. You’ll continue developing your trade knowledge while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a supportive and safety-focused environment.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Fabricate and assemble steel and metal components.
- Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, and welding tasks.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operate workshop tools and fabrication equipment safely.
- Prepare materials and maintain a clean, organised work area.

- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
- Initiative and responsible attitude
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
