Full Time Barber/Hairdresser

Inayah Pty Ltd is seeking to recruit experienced and skilled Barbers/Hairdressers to work across its two business locations in Tamworth, NSW: Barber Industries – Shopping World and Desi Look Hair Salon, Tamworth NSW 2340.

to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The successful applicant will be passionate about hairdressing, barbering, men's grooming and customer service, with the ability to deliver high-quality haircuts, styling and grooming services in a busy salon environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicant will be responsible for:

·Consulting with clients to determine their hairdressing, barbering and grooming requirements.

·Cutting, trimming, styling and shaping hair using clippers, scissors, razors and other professional tools.

·Performing barbering services, including shaving, beard sculpting, moustache trimming and grooming.

·Shampooing hair, conditioning scalps and providing appropriate hair care advice.

·Performing hair colouring and other hairdressing treatments, where required.

·Advising clients on suitable hairstyles, grooming techniques and hair care products.

·Keeping up to date with current haircuts, hairstyles, beard styles and industry trends.

·Recommending appropriate hair care and grooming products to clients.

·Managing client appointments and providing professional customer service.

·Processing payments and handling transactions accurately.

·Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic workstation.

·Cleaning and sanitising all tools and equipment in accordance with applicable hygiene standards.

·Working collaboratively with other salon staff to maintain service quality and customer satisfaction.

Selection CriteriaTo be considered for this position, applicants should demonstrate:

·A relevant qualification in barbering or hairdressing, together with at least two years of relevant experience; or at least three years of full time experience as a Barber/Hairdresser

·Proficiency in using clippers, scissors, razors and other professional hairdressing equipment.

·Experience in beard trimming, shaving and facial hair grooming highly regarded.

·Knowledge of current hairstyles, barbering techniques and grooming trends.

·Strong customer service and communication skills.

·Good time management and appointment-handling skills.

·The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Salary and Employment Conditions·Salary: $80,000–$85,000 per annum.

·Employment Type: Permanent, full-time.

·Location: Tamworth NSW 2340.
