The Opportunity
As the Accounts Receivable Officer you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions for receivable accounts across Carrington's various service streams. As part of our collaborative Finance Team, this full-time onsite role is an excellent opportunity to ensure Carrington's consumers are invoiced in compliance with Aged Care standards and key stakeholder relationships are maintained with consumers and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and coordinating the accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring the timely invoicing, collection and accurate processing of outstanding accounts
- Providing timely, efficient and satisfactory customer services for all accounts receivable enquiries, resolving any discrepancies and building positive stakeholder relationships
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve outstanding payment issues
- Maintaining accounts receivable within trading terms, follow-up overdue customer account and escalate as appropriate
- Supporting the end of month process, record keeping and preparation for audits.
- Ensuring adherence to Accounting standards and policies
About you
Essential:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a high-volume transaction Accounts receivable role
- Proven customer service skills & effective stakeholder management with a high volume, diverse customer base
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of finance systems & sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective time management and organisational skills to prioritise workloads, multitask and meet deadlines
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Check
Desirable:
- Experience in the Aged Care/Not for Profit industry
- Experience with the Epicor system
