About the opportunity:
Working within our Gepps Cross board manufacturing plant, you'll learn from experienced tradespeople while contributing to the maintenance and reliability of industry-leading equipment.
What you will learn:
- Complete a 4-year Mechanical Fitting Apprenticeship in an FMCG (Fast moving consumer goods) manufacturing environment.
- Gain hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing high-speed production equipment while studying towards your trade qualification.
- Work alongside experienced tradespeople and develop skills across conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics and automated manufacturing systems.
- Graduate as a qualified Mechanical Fitter with practical experience on world-class manufacturing equipment and strong career pathways within the business.
What we are looking for
- Completed Year 12 (or equivalent)
- Genuine interest in mechanical maintenance and manufacturing
- Mechanical aptitude with a hands-on approach to learning
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
