GOUGH Recruitment is growing our Melbourne team and we’re looking for a Talent Manager / Temp Recruitment Consultant to join us.

You might already have recruitment experience and be looking for your next opportunity, or you could be working within real estate sales, property management, leasing or business development and wondering what your next career move looks like.

If you’re coming directly from real estate, you don’t need recruitment experience. We can teach you recruitment. What you bring is industry knowledge, people skills and an understanding of property that can take years to build.

The Role

You’ll work closely with our Melbourne consultants, becoming a key part of candidate attraction and relationship management while also helping grow our temp desk.
Your day will include:
• Proactively sourcing and headhunting property professionals
• Interviewing and registering candidates
• Building and maintaining strong candidate relationships
• Matching candidates with permanent and temporary opportunities
• Managing temporary recruitment requirements
• Building and maintaining an active temp candidate pool
• Re-engaging candidates within our established database
• Advertising roles and managing applications
• Working closely with consultants to understand their vacancies and candidate needs
• Using SEEK, LinkedIn and our database to uncover talent
• Reference checking and candidate compliance
• Staying close to candidates throughout the recruitment process and beyond

You may already be working in recruitment and looking for a new team, market or opportunity to develop your career.

You may be working in real estate and ready to do something different. Whichever path you’re coming from, you’ll be someone who:

It’s a rare blend: we’re looking for someone with the drive and resilience of a salesperson, but the organisation and attention to detail to keep everything moving behind the scenes.

Coming From Real Estate? You’re not starting again.
If you come from sales, you already understand prospecting, pipelines, relationship building, objection handling and working towards targets.
If you come from property management, leasing or BDM, you already understand the roles, businesses and people we recruit for every day.
We’ll teach you the recruitment side. Your industry knowledge is the advantage you bring with you.
