Acting as the solution designer within the group. Main accountabilities are
- Converting business and user requirements into technical specifications suitable for use by developers
- Designing software (data) solutions across multiple platforms
- Producing high quality documentation
- Feasibility, fit-for-purpose assessment
- Option development and assessment
Technical writing
- Requirements capture
- Feasibility and fit-for-purpose assessments
- Confluence
- JIRA
- Agile practices
- Telecommunications technologies for Government and Enterprise customers Very high
Experience working with teams who develop solutions using
- Spark and Scala
- Graph databases
- Splunk
- Container technologies such as Docker and associated orchestration engines like Kubernetes
- API gateways and data streaming
- Kafka and other applications that come with Hortonworks/Cloudera big data application suite
- relational and non-relational database backends such as MySQL, Cassandra/HBase, Couchbase
- DevOps tools such as Bamboo, Jira, Bitbucket/GitLab, SonarQube, Coverity
