Volunteer opportunities include supporting our allied health therapy teams working with children and adults, supporting our Lifestyles, sports and accommodation clients, or gaining experience in our corporate services.

Details of the role:

Our Powered Mobility Group supports people to use a powered wheelchair safely and with confidence.

Working closely with experienced therapists, participants take part in practical activities that develop real-world mobility skills in everyday environments.

The program provides one-to-one support within a small, supportive group. It is suitable for people who are new to powered mobility, as well as those looking to build on their existing skills.

Dates & Times:

Dates: 28 September to 2 October 2026

Times: 9.30am to 12.30pm

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the set up and pack up of the day's events.

  • Supporting the OT team in supporting the clients navigating the activities and courses throughout the day. (obstacle courses etc)

  • Observing and liaising with the clients and their families

Role requirements:

  • 16 years and above

  • NDIS Worker Screening

  • Working with Children Check (NSW)
