We are seeking Casual Disability Support Workers across a number of our Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation services. Priority locations include: Boronia, Clayton, Kew, Malvern East, Mooroolbark, Ormond, Preston and Wantirna.
About the role:
- Provide warm, respectful, person-centred support that promotes dignity and independence
- Follow behaviour support strategies, routines, and safety procedures consistently
- Support participants with daily living, personal care, health routines, and community access
- Use calm communication and effective de-escalation to manage behaviours of concern
- Work confidently and independently while following structured support plans
- Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with the wider team
- Bring patience, reliability, and a calm, supportive approach to every shift
What you'll need:
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and overnight (active/sleepover).
- Ability to travel to work in priority locations: Boronia, Clayton, Kew, Malvern East, Mooroolbark, Ormond, Preston and Wantirna.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check.
- Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Full Victorian driver’s licence
- Valid Australian working rights and international police check (if applicable).
