About the role
- AM shift - Machine Operator without LF Licence: $35.00/hr
- AM shift - Machine Operator with LF Licence: $38.00hr
- Monday to Thursday: 6am to 2:30pm, Friday: 6am to 12pm
Key duties and responsibilities
- Raw metal material preparation
- Operating various machines such as drop saw, band saw, punch & sheet machines and CNC bender
- Other tasks include assembly, packing and general labour Using various powers tool/hand tools to complete tasks
- Manual handling, repetitive heavy lifting
- Quality checking of finished products
- Required to meet production deadlines
Skills and experience
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Machine Operator
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must-Have Power Tool and Hand Tool Knowledge
- LF Forklift Licence (desirable)
- Must have full working rights
- Experience operating CNC machinery is desirable
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Must have reliable transport
