Maintenance Supervisor

MACA are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join the team in a permanent full-time role at McPhee Creek Iron Ore Project working an 8/6, 7/7 FIFO roster from Perth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance crews, ensuring effective utilisation of personnel and equipment, clear communication of work requirements, and competency in assigned maintenance tasks.
• Oversee safe, compliant maintenance operations by enforcing HSE procedures, isolations, permits, and risk controls in line with site and legislative requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training to maintenance personnel, while monitoring shift performance to achieve planned maintenance and equipment availability targets.
• Plan, schedule, and support preventative and corrective maintenance activities in collaboration with operations and reliability teams to minimise downtime.
• Inspect, audit, and verify the condition of drill equipment, tools, and maintenance facilities, ensuring defects are identified, reported, and rectified.
• Report maintenance issues and deviations from plans, complete required documentation, and lead investigations into equipment failures, incidents, or near misses.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience leading a team in a mining production environment.
• Extensive experience in breakdowns, diagnostics and repair abilities.
• Trade qualified in a mechanical discipline is highly desirable.
• A current WA drivers’ licence and relevant high-risk tickets.
• Attend and contribute to pre-shift, toolbox and safety meetings.
• Good attention to detail and ability to deliver high standards
• Willingness to take ownership of the drills
• AMT and Pronto experience is desirable
