Role Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/Angiography
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time
Department and Location: Angiography Department, The Mater Hospital, North Sydney
Salary: 39.23 – 55.09 AUD base per hour.

About the Role:
Scrub/scout for angiography procedures such as coronary angiograms +/- PCI, cardiac electrophysiological studies +/- catheter ablations, interventional radiology, and cardiac device implantation.
Provide pre & post procedure care.
On-call once opportunities.
Anaesthetic nursing and IV sedation administration.
Monitor and ensure the availability of supplies and equipment, including set-ups for procedures.
About You:
AHPRA registration.
Demonstrated experience in Angiography and/or Theatre Scrub as Registered Nurse. Minimum 2 years post graduate experience.
A postgraduate qualification/s would be advantageous.
Ability to display sound theoretical knowledge with excellent technical, practical and communication skills.
Knowledge of legislation relevant to nursing practice.

In this role you will be based at the Mater hospital, North Sydney.
One of Sydney’s premier private hospitals.
Close by to train stations at North Sydney, St Leonards, and Crows Nest, and buses on Pacific Highway.
The only Australian hospital that is a member of the International Society of Orthopaedic Centres.
Core specialties include Obstetrics, Orthopaedics including hip and knee joint replacements, bone and sports injuries, cardiology, cancer care and surgery, lung and vascular medicine, ear, nose and throat surgery, urology, endocrine surgery, and neurosurgery.
