About the Business

Rise & Shine Kindergarten, Warner Centre is a family owned and operated early childhood education and care service in Warner, in Brisbane's north-west, and part of the Rise & Shine Kindergarten group. The centre takes a holistic approach to children's development, giving each child a rich start to their learning through play-based programs delivered in a safe, warm and stimulating environment. The needs of our families, our crew and our local community sit at the heart of the care and service we provide, and we believe early learning should be fun – when our educators enjoy their work, the children thrive too. Our culture is supportive, nurturing and friendly, with a strong emphasis on professional growth, and we take pride in helping our crew pursue their career goals.

About the Position

The Early Childhood Teacher leads the design and delivery of the centre's educational program, making sure every child's learning is planned, documented and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework. Working closely with the centre's educators and families, the Early Childhood Teacher sets the standard for teaching practice in the rooms, mentors educators in curriculum planning and assessment, and keeps families informed of their children's progress and milestones. The role is central to the quality of education and care delivered at the Warner Centre and to the service's ongoing compliance and assessment outcomes.
