Job description
Senior Procurement & Contracts Officer
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Procurement & Contracts Officer to join a supportive Procurement and Contract Management team.
In this role, you’ll lead end-to-end procurement activities, working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver commercially sound outcomes while ensuring compliance with Queensland Government procurement requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing tenders, RFQs and end-to-end procurement processes
- Providing procurement and contract advice to business stakeholders
- Developing procurement strategies and evaluation documentation
- Supporting contract negotiations, variations and renewals
- Managing supplier performance and commercial outcomes
- Ensuring procurement activities align with policy, probity and value-for-money principles
We’re looking for someone with strong procurement and contract management experience who can confidently manage complex procurement activities independently.
Government procurement experience is highly regarded, with ICT procurement experience also an advantage.
