Your new Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced web professional to take ownership of a recently launched website during a critical period of optimisation and continuous improvement. Working across communications, digital, technology and business teams, you will help ensure the website delivers a seamless and user-focused experience while supporting ongoing enhancements and content improvements. You will manage website publishing, content updates and quality assurance activities while identifying opportunities to improve usability, accessibility and overall site performance. The role will see you reviewing and restructuring content, improving navigation and information architecture, and translating complex information into clear, engaging and accessible digital content. You'll work closely with stakeholders to deliver website enhancements, support content migration activities and help digitise forms and online services. Using analytics, search insights and user feedback, you'll identify areas for improvement and help drive a data-informed approach to website performance and customer experience.What you'll need to succeed
- Experience managing and maintaining websites within a complex organisation
- Strong web writing, editing and content publishing skills
- Experience using content management systems, ideally Squiz Matrix or Squiz DXP
- Understanding of website accessibility and usability principles
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, plain English content
- Experience working with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver web improvements
