About the Client
Our Client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeperson / Forklift Operator to join their team. This role involves warehouse operations, stock handling, order preparation and general labouring duties within a busy work environment.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Machine Operator or Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the below duties depending on the role:
- Receive, check and store incoming stock and deliveries
- Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch
- Operate a forklift to move, load and unload steel products (If ticketed)
- Assist with stock control, inventory checks and record keeping
- Operating Steel manufacturing machines
- Assist with general labouring and basic machine duties
What You Will Need
To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:
- Driver's Licence + reliable transport
- Current forklift licence + experience
- Experience in warehouse or stores operations is advantageous
- Ability to safely handle materials and steel products
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
- Own required PPE, including hi-vis long-sleeve shirt, long pants and steel-capped boots
