- Driving an HR waste collection truck safely and efficiently.
- Collecting general waste, recycling, glass and green waste.
- Supporting the wider team with runs when required.
About the roles
On behalf of our client, gforce employment + recruitment is currently seeking Waste Truck Drivers in Ballarat to commence immediately.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Driving an HR waste collection truck safely and efficiently
- Collecting general waste, recycling, glass and green waste
- Supporting the wider team with runs when required
About you
We are looking for reliable, motivated drivers who take pride in their work and are happy to get the job done safely and efficiently.
To be successful, you will have:
- Current HR Truck Licence
- Previous truck driving experience
- Current drivers licence; manual driving experience is highly preferred
- Previous kerbside/waste collection experience is highly regarded
- Left-hand-drive truck experience is highly regarded
- Good knowledge of Ballarat streets and suburbs
- Excellent reliability and work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to different runs and procedures
- Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team member
- Willingness to get out of the truck and assist where required
- Ability to pass a police check and drug and alcohol screening
These are casual day-shift positions, generally working Monday to Friday, 5:30am to approximately 1:54pm, with some overtime required.
