Civil Engineer

BM Webb Building Pty Ltd t/a BM Webb Industrial Property is looking for experienced Civil Engineer at Mount St John, QLD.

Duties will include the following tasks:

• Determine construction methods, materials and quality standards, and prepare and interpret engineering drawings, plans and specifications.
• Organise and supervise site activities, including labour, construction materials, plant and equipment, and coordinate project schedules.
• Conduct soil and rock investigations, assess ground conditions and determine safe soil loading capacities for construction projects.
• Prepare project cost estimates and budgets, monitor design changes, and assess and negotiate variations affecting project costs.
• Analyse and design structural and transportation systems, ensuring structural safety and considering traffic flow, transport demand and infrastructure requirements.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or an equivalent relevant engineering qualification.
2. Experience in civil engineering design, construction projects, reading technical drawings and interpreting engineering specifications.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering principles, quality standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
