Disability Support Workerer (Complex Care)
Location: Henty, NSW
Work Type: Casual / Ongoing Shifts/ Regular Shift Patterns
Pay Rate: $39-$49/hour
Make a real difference in our client's life while keeping the flexibility to live your own. This role offers monthly rosters based on your availability, along with a structured onboarding program, buddy shifts and paid training so you feel supported from day one - plus hands‑on clinical experience support a our male client, who is living in a homecare setting with a complex spinal cord injury.
Must be available for:
- 2x shifts: 6:00am-14:00pm
- 2x shifts: 18:00pm-23:00pm

The Role: Disability Support Worker
- Manual Handling (Hoist)
- Personal care
- Catheter care
- Medication administration
- Bowel Care management
- Have knowledge of Autonomic Dysreflexia
- Rehabilitation exercises
- Domestic assistance
- Light household duties & meal preparation
- Continuous clinical assessment of client
- Personal care including skin integrity management and pressure area care
- Support the client with activities at home and out in the community
What You'll Bring
- Being flexible to do 24/7 Rotating Roster
- Previous Spinal Cord Injury experience
- Manual handling experience (essential)
- Personal care experience
- Current accredited First aid and CPR
- NDIS Screening Clearance
- Manual handling certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Medication certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Minimum Certificate 3 in health care.
- Right to live and work within Australia
- Valid Australian Driver's License
