Technical Specialist

Role Status: Full-time temporary vacancy, offered on a 12-month contract

Remuneration: ASO5 ($92,122 - $102,456) plus 12% superannuation

As a Technical Specialist based in the Adelaide CBD, you will bring your expertise to a role that helps the Department for Child Protection (DCP) deliver the work that matters. You will have the opportunity to contribute to different initiatives, collaborate with experienced professionals and maintain the systems and services that help DCP make a difference in the community.

You will be responsible for:

• Resolving complex technical issues across desktop, server, network and cloud environments
• Supporting cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, alongside Windows and Linux servers
• Planning and assessing IT infrastructure to meet current and future business needs
• Identifying opportunities to improve IT systems, services and ways of working
• Collaborating with users and external providers to resolve issues and deliver new IT services.

About you:

• You bring strong technical expertise across enterprise infrastructure, server platforms and endpoint management
• You can analyse IT problems, identify solutions and provide responsive technical support
• You have experience delivering hardware and software rollouts and upgrades across large, distributed organisations
• Your background includes supporting enterprise infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments
• You communicate effectively with stakeholders and can develop clear documentation, procedures and support materials.
