Warehouse and Distribution Clerk

Healthcare Professionals Group are currently recruiting experienced Warehouse Operators for multiple opportunities within a highly regulated manufacturing and logistics environment.These positions will suit experienced warehouse professionals who are confident operating a high-reach forklift, comfortable working within a cold-room environment and able to maintain a high level of accuracy and safety when handling valuable finished products.
Working within the finished-goods warehouse and logistics operation, your responsibilities will include:
- High-reach forklift operation
- Working within a cold-room environment
- Picking and movement of finished products
- SAP goods receipting
- Cycle counting and stock control
- Receiving deliveries
- Preparing finished goods for distribution
- General warehouse duties
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and documentation
- Working in accordance with strict safety, quality and warehouse procedures
The broader position also includes stocktaking, inventory control, warehouse location management and ensuring finished products are prepared correctly for distribution.
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience
- Current forklift licence with high-reach experience
- White Card
- Strong computer skills
- Experience using inventory or warehouse-management systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent safety awareness
- Reliability and the ability to follow direction
- Confidence working independently as well as within a team
Experience within a manufacturing, pharmaceutical or similarly regulated warehouse environment would be highly regarded. SAP experience or the demonstrated ability to learn ERP systems would also be valuable.
About you
You’ll be someone who takes accuracy seriously. Attention to detail, inventory discipline and following established processes are essential.
You will also need to be comfortable working across different warehouse areas and maintaining the required rotating shift pattern. (12 hour shifts, rotating from day to night every 8 weeks)
