Electrical Project Manager (Commercial Construction)

My client is a market leading Electrical Contractor who provide high quality electrical services to the commercial sectors across Sydney. They have a wide variety of Design & Construct (D&C) works, including commercial office fit-outs, warehouses, factories, education environments, and retail spaces. These typically involve electrical packages ranging from $1 million to $15 million.
They are currently looking for a Project Manager's to join their expanding team. The role will focus predominantly on working on providing technical knowledge to the team and meeting with clients.
Duties
- Review and have complete understanding of tender package, contract documents and construction program.
- Engage with Sub-Contractors and Stakeholders.
- Manage budgets, KPIs, and Procurement of all Major equipment and materials.
- Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations
- Liaise with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and team development
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a similar Electrical Project Management role within the Commercial D&C sector.
- Licensed Electrician (NSW) with solid technical understanding of commercial systems.
- Be able to assist with Estimating on future projects.
- Have a good understanding of Design & Construct Projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced service environment
- Sound financial acumen and understanding of P&L management
- A commitment to safety and quality at all levels
