Protech are seeking Electricians/Electrical Fitters to join our client in Arndell Park on an upcoming project. These roles offer an immediate start and great opportunities for long‑term and ongoing work.
About the Role
- Immediate start
- Casual / Temp-to-Perm opportunities
- Day shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm
- Work with a leading switchboard manufacturing and electrical assembly business
Key Responsibilities:
Electricians:
- Testing LV/HV switchboards and assemblies to required standards
- Identifying wiring faults, continuity issues, and installation inaccuracies
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues alongside engineers
- Using a range of electrical testing equipment
Electrical Fitters:
- Building and assembling electrical switchboards
- Wiring, terminating, and installing electrical components
- Assisting with fault-finding and pre‑compliance checks
- Supporting testers and engineers during assembly and inspection
Trade Assistants:
- Assisting electricians and fitters with swtichboard assembly
- Using hand and power tools
- Manual Handling
- Loading/unloading materials
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician (qualified)
- Switchboard experience is essential
- Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and safety regulations
- Confident using electrical testing equipment
- Previous Electrical Fitter experience highly regarded
