Your New Company
Hays Trades & Labour works with some of Far North Queensland's leading employers across construction, manufacturing, transport, mining services, government, facilities maintenance and industrial sectors. Due to continued demand, we are seeking qualified tradespeople for a variety of upcoming and immediate-start opportunities throughout Townsville and surrounding regions.
Your New Role
We are currently seeking experienced and trade-qualified candidates across multiple disciplines. Opportunities are available in workshop, site-based and mobile service environments, with both temporary and permanent positions on offer.
Duties may include:
- Installation, maintenance and repairs
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance
- New construction and fit-out projects
- Workshop fabrication and manufacturing
- Plant and equipment servicing
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Site-based maintenance and shutdown work
- Reading and interpreting plans and technical drawings
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be considered, you will ideally possess:
- Relevant Australian Trade Qualification
- Current Driver's Licence
- Construction White Card (where required)
- Strong commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Relevant licences and tickets advantageous
- Full Australian working rights
