The Role:
The Accredited Professionals Scheme helps ensure that planning and building decisions under South Australia's planning and development legislation are made by suitably qualified and experienced professionals who meet professional standards and are accountable for the work they undertake. The Scheme supports confidence in South Australia's planning and development system through the accreditation, monitoring and oversight of accredited professionals. As the Accreditation and Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the administration, integrity and effective operation of the Accredited Professionals Scheme. Working within the Audit, Accreditation and Compliance Team, you will provide regulatory administration, compliance and customer service support across accreditation management, compliance monitoring and complaints.
You will hold the following responsibilities:
- Act as a first point of contact for accreditation, audit and complaint enquiries while providing administrative support for accreditation processes, records, registers and certification.
- Support the Scheme's regulatory and compliance functions, including audits, complaints, investigations, tribunal appeal matters, accreditation renewals and continuing professional development requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate business documentation, reports, correspondence, audit reminders and management reporting.
- Assist in maintaining accreditation standards, guidance materials, qualifications and pathway information to ensure Scheme information remains accurate and current.
- Actively participate and contribute to responsible and safe work practices.
About You:
To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate experience across the following key capabilities:
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including both written and verbal.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a small team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with multiple competing priorities.
- Experience providing professional and confidential membership services, legislative compliance and/or complaint handling administrative support.
Special Conditions
Successful applicants may be required to obtain a satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check prior to employment. A renewal may be required every 3 years.
Remuneration:
ASO3 $74,095 min - $78,694 max plus superannuation.
