We are currently looking for 2 Workshop Assistants to join our client in Welshpool in a long-term position, offering either day shifts or afternoon shifts (whatever works best for you!).
Our client is a leading manufacturing business that provides services largely to the mining industry, with 40+ employees based locally in Perth within their workshop. As a result of ongoing growth, they are currently looking for reliable, hands-on workers to join their production team.

Day & Afternoon Shifts Available
$35/Hr (Day Shifts) & $40.25/Hr (Afternoon Shifts)
This is a hands-on, physical role in a factory production environment, ideal for someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty and is comfortable working in wet, dirty and industrial conditions. You will be involved in cleaning, stripping, assembling and processing products as part of a busy production line, with full training provided!
Job Duties:
- Working on a busy production line within a factory manufacturing environment.
- Assisting with the processing, stripping, cleaning and assembly of products used in the mining industry.
- Handling products and materials throughout various stages of production.
- Cleaning and preparing products in wet, dirty and sometimes greasy conditions.
- Using basic hand and power tools, with full training provided.
Shift Times:
- Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 2:30 PM (Day Shifts)
- Monday - Friday, 3 PM - 11:30 PM (Afternoon Shifts)
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing, production, factory or labouring experience is highly regarded.
- Comfortable working in a wet, dirty and physically demanding environment.
- Drivers licence and reliable transport to and from work.
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test and provide a national police clearance.
