Duties and responsibilities
- Respond to breakdowns and fault-find mechanical and electrical issues on-site
- Install and commission machinery, ensuring performance meets required standards
- Train customer personnel on operation, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Perform preventative maintenance and service inspections
- Diagnose production and equipment issues to reduce downtime and improve performance
- Prepare detailed service reports and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades
We are looking for someone with
- Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
- Strong fault-finding ability across mechanical systems, electrical knowledge is a bonus
- Experience working on industrial or manufacturing equipment
- Ability to work autonomously and manage your own schedule
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Willingness to travel interstate at short notice and work flexible hours when required
