   Whats on Offer:

Description

Our client is a growing multidisciplinary allied health provider on the Sunshine Coast, supporting children, families and adults through clinic-based, community and NDIS-funded therapy services.

The team brings together Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists and Allied Health Assistants, with dedicated administration support and a strong focus on meaningful client outcomes.

With continued growth across Queensland, the organisation is looking for a Speech Pathologist who enjoys working with a mixed caseload, particularly paediatrics, while having the flexibility to shape their clinical focus around their interests and experience.

Why this Role:

This role would suit a Speech Pathologist who enjoys paediatric therapy but doesn't necessarily want to be restricted to a 100% paediatric caseload.

There is flexibility to develop your clinical interests while working within a growing allied health team.

You will have access to:

  • Flexible caseload mix: Approximately 70–85% paediatrics, depending on your preferences
  • Salary from: $90,000 (New Grad) up to $115,000 + Super
  • Multidisciplinary support: Work alongside Speech Pathologists, OTs, Psychologists, Physiotherapists and AHAs
  • Clinical mentoring: Access to group mentoring and support from discipline-specific leadership
  • Career progression: Opportunities to develop into Senior Clinician, mentoring or Team Leader positions as services expand
  • Balanced KPI expectations: A service model focused on balancing client outcomes, clinical delivery and clinician wellbeing
  • Dedicated administration: Clinic administration teams supporting day-to-day operations
  • Allied Health Assistants: Additional support available within the multidisciplinary service model
  • Community travel support: Pool vehicles available for community appointments
  • Flexible service delivery: A combination of clinic-based therapy, community visits and telehealth
  • Leadership development: Internal training and development opportunities for clinicians interested in progressing their career
  • Equipment: Laptop and mobile phone provided
  • Opportunities to develop clinical interests across paediatric and adult presentations

About the Role:
This is a mixed caseload Speech Pathology position on the Sunshine Coast, with the opportunity to work predominantly with paediatric clients while maintaining exposure to adult and lifespan presentations.

Your week may include:

  • Clinic-based Speech Pathology assessments and intervention
  • Supporting children with autism, neurodivergent presentations, developmental delays and complex communication needs
  • AAC assessment, intervention and communication support
  • Working with adult NDIS participants with neurological conditions and communication difficulties
  • School, home and community visits where appropriate
  • Telehealth appointments where clinically suitable
  • Working alongside OTs, Psychologists, Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants
  • Developing therapy plans focused on functional communication, participation and individual NDIS goals

The service operates through a multidisciplinary model, with dedicated administration staff and Allied Health Assistants supporting clinical service delivery.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Current Speech Pathology Australia membership or eligibility for membership
  • Current driver's licence
  • Australian working rights

If you're looking for a Speech Pathology role where you can maintain a strong paediatric focus without being limited to one client group, this is worth a conversation.

Whether you're looking to strengthen your paediatric experience or take the next step in your Speech Pathology career, there is room to shape the role around your interests.
