Minimum requirement

  • Minimum Diploma in relevant field
  • Relevant experience of at least 1 year

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day activities and routines of residents within a group residential accommodation setting.
  • Support the smooth operation of the residence by coordinating daily schedules, communal routines and organised activities.
  • Organise and facilitate group recreational, social and leisure activities to encourage resident participation and interaction.
  • Assist residents to participate in group programs, community events, outings and recreational activities.
  • Coordinate shared mealtimes, including basic meal preparation, food service and maintaining orderly dining areas.
  • Monitor the general residential environment and report maintenance, safety or facility-related issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Provide practical assistance to residents with routine accommodation-related matters and activities within the residential environment.
  • Encourage positive interaction, cooperation and participation among residents within the group living environment.
  • Maintain accurate daily records relating to resident activities, attendance, incidents and general residential matters.
  • Communicate with supervisors and other residential staff regarding daily routines, activities, operational matters and issues arising within the residence.
  • Follow workplace procedures relating to health and safety, emergency management, privacy, confidentiality and the effective operation of the residential facility.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a group residential environment.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and facilitate group activities.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and daily documentation.
  • Ability to follow workplace policies, procedures and safety requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple routine tasks within a residential environment.
