Your new role
As a Senior Engineer / Consultant, you will lead the delivery of projects and major work packages, ensuring technical excellence, efficient project outcomes, and strong client satisfaction. You will take ownership of project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring junior engineers while providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading design packages and reviewing technical deliverables prepared by junior engineers.
- Resolving complex engineering challenges and driving practical, buildable solutions.
- Managing project scope, schedules, risks, and stakeholder coordination.
- Leading client meetings and maintaining strong day-to-day client relationships.
- Monitoring project performance against budgets and supporting fee proposals.
- Identifying and managing project variations and scope changes.
- Mentoring and developing junior engineers to support team capability growth.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- 4 to 7 years' engineering experience.
- Professional Registration or be actively working towards achieving registration.
- Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent), or currently working towards chartership.
- Demonstrated experience leading project delivery and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong technical expertise with the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to deliver projects within scope and budget.
- A proactive approach to client engagement and relationship management.
