Details:
ED RMO/HMO locum positions are available across a longer-term roster period, with doctors rostered for 152 hours over each 28-day cycle. There are opportunities to accept additional shifts beyond the core roster, providing flexibility for doctors looking to increase their hours. The role requires doctors with rural experience and confidence working independently, including solo ED night shifts.
Requirements
- PGY3+
- Previous rural Emergency Department experience
- Experience working solo ED night shifts
- Current Adult Life Support (ALS)
- Current Paediatric Life Support (PLS/APLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation certification

Katherine Hospital is a regional hospital serving Katherine and the surrounding communities in the Northern Territory.
