The Role: 

We are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team on a full-time permanent basis. 

Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you'll play an important role in supporting month-end activities, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. Working closely with Finance and business stakeholders, you'll help deliver accurate reporting, cost insights and process improvements that support informed business decision-making. 

What You'll Be Doing: 

  • Supporting month-end reporting, expense accruals and reconciliations. 
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis activities. 
  • Preparing and maintaining management reports, including Power BI reporting. 
  • Monitoring project costs and investigating financial variances. 
  • Supporting audits and other key Finance deliverables. 
  • Contributing to process improvements and reporting efficiencies across the Finance function.

About You: 

To be successful, you'll have: 

  • Minimum 3 years' accounting experience. 
  • Degree qualifications in Accounting or a related discipline. 
  • Studying towards CPA, or intending to commence your CPA journey. 
  • Strong accounting knowledge, including accruals, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. 
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using financial systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar ERP platform. 
  • Exposure to Power BI reporting and analysis. 
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • A positive, collaborative and proactive approach to work.
