Six Degrees Executive are delighted to be partnering with a market-leading global construction materials business to recruit an experienced Quarry Manager for a high-performing site near Geelong.
With an engaged team, an outstanding safety record and strong foundations in place, this is an excellent opportunity to take full ownership of a well-run operation.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the State Operations Manager, you'll lead the quarry in its entirety, with full budget responsibility and accountability for safety, production, people and customers.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead, coach and develop a close-knit site team.
- Maintain and build on an outstanding safety culture.
- Take full budget responsibility, with strong planning and cost discipline.
- Drive plant performance, productivity and product quality.
- Ensure environmental and regulatory compliance across the site.
- Build strong relationships with customers, contractors and the local community.
About You
- 5+ years experience as a Quarry Manager.
- A strong background in extractive operations and processing.
- A Diploma in Extractive Industries, an engineering degree or equivalent.
- A proven safety leadership track record.
- Sound commercial and budget management capability.
- A practical, visible and hands-on leadership style.
