Manufacturing Operators - Day & Afternoon Shift

AWX is seeking reliable and motivated Production Operators, Extrusion Helpers and Pallet Repairers to join a busy manufacturing operation based in Narangba.
$32.18-$37.01/hr + Overtime - Narangba - Day & Afternoon Shifts - Temp to Permanent opportunity
We have ongoing opportunities across a range of roster options, including 4 x 12-hour shifts for Extrusion Helpers and 5 x 8-hour shifts for Production Operators and Pallet Repairers.
Candidates with previous extrusion, injection or moulding experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Competitive starting rates are on offer, with pay increases available following successful completion of the training period, which can take up to 3 months depending on the role.

Roles & Shifts Available
Extrusion Helpers - Day Shift
• 4 days per week
• 12-hour shifts
• Commencing from 7:00AM
• Daily overtime applies after 8 hours
• Training period of up to 3 months

Production Operators - Day & Afternoon Shift
• 5 days per week
• 8-hour shifts
• Day shift commencing from 7:00AM
• Afternoon shift commencing from 3:00PM
• Training period of up to 3 months

Pallet Repairers - Day & Afternoon Shift
• 5 days per week
• 8-hour shifts
• Day shift commencing from 7:00AM
• Afternoon shift commencing from 3:00PM

The Roles
Production Operators / Extrusion Helpers
Depending on your role, duties may include:
• Operating and monitoring production machinery
• Assisting with extrusion, injection or moulding processes
• Feeding raw materials into machinery
• Monitoring production lines and equipment
• Completing quality checks on finished products
• Packing, stacking and preparing finished products
• Troubleshooting basic production issues
• Manual handling and general production duties
• Following safety, quality and production procedures

Pallet Repairers
• Inspecting and repairing damaged pallets
• Using hand and power tools
• Removing and replacing damaged timber
• Manual handling and stacking pallets
• Completing basic quality checks
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• General labouring duties as required

About You
We're looking for reliable, safety-focused candidates who enjoy hands-on work and are comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
For our Production and Extrusion opportunities, previous experience in extrusion, injection moulding, plastic manufacturing, machine operation or a similar production environment will be highly regarded.

To be successful, you will ideally have:
• Previous extrusion, injection or moulding experience
• Production, manufacturing or machine operating experience
• Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Experience using hand and power tools for Pallet Repair roles
• Ability to perform repetitive and manual handling tasks
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• A safety-focused approach to work
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable transport to and from the Narangba site
• Availability to work the required roster for your chosen role
