Job Description
Alpha Nursing is a panel provider to the WA Department of Health and is actively recruiting Registered Nurses and Midwives to join the South West Region. The successful applicants will provide woman-centred, continuity-of-care across antenatal clinics, maternity wards, birth suites and home visiting services. Working autonomously within a caseload model, they will also participate in 24-hour on-call shifts, providing high-quality, continuity-of-care to women and their families throughout their maternity journey.
Essential competencies include BLS, NNR, obstetric emergency management and FSEP Level 3 practitioner status (Level 2 will be considered). Advanced clinical skills in IV cannulation and perineal suturing are desirable. A current driver’s licence and the ability to confidently drive on country roads are also required.

About the role:
As an RN or Midwife in the Alpha Nursing team, you’ll have the opportunity to work in regional/remote settings to match your experience. We have block placement options in ED/Acute, Medical and Surgical and all aspects of Midwifery care, including AM, PM and ND shifts. Applicants must have Australian work rights.

ALS, Triage and Resus experience/qualifications
