$50–$70 per hour depending on experience (inclusive of shift loading) + Super + Overtime + Salary Review
A leading food manufacturing company based in Rowville is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team on a full-time permanent night or day shift.

The Role
This is a hands-on maintenance position responsible for preventative and reactive (breakdown) maintenance across production equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring plant reliability, efficiency, and safe operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipment
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical faults
- Work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveyors, pumps, and valves
- Carry out general mechanical maintenance and repairs
- Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and OHS standards
- Provide technical support to production teams to minimise downtime
About You
- Previous experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing, food production, or FMCG
- Cert III in Mechanical/Fitting & Turning highly regarded but not essential
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics preferred
- Reliable, hands-on, and proactive with a strong safety focus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Welding, fabrication, or forklift licence experience highly regarded but not essential
