Job Description

- Lead month-end close activities and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain integrity of the general ledger.
- Coordinate year-end processes and act as a key contact for external auditors.
- Oversee ATO compliance requirements across the business.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, reconciliations, controls, and system integrations.
- Review and strengthen financial policies, procedures, and venue cash controls.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial insights for senior stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with venue management, operational teams, and finance stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
- CA/CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years' experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills.
- Experience with audits, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong systems capability.
- Ability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide meaningful recommendations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
What's on Offer
- Hourly rate ranging from AUD 55 to AUD 70
- Temporary role lasting 3-6 months. Potential to go perm if full work rights
