SENIOR DATA GOVERNANCE IMPLEMENTATION ANALYST

Senior Data Governance Implementation Analyst | Federal Government | Sydney

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Governance Implementation Analyst to join a major data 

transformation program within a Federal Government agency.

This is a hands-on implementation role focused on taking data governance from framework to practice, embedding governance processes, ownership, stewardship and tooling across business and technology teams.

What you’ll be doing:

• Implement data governance operating models across business domains
• Establish data ownership, stewardship and governance processes
• Lead workshops with business, technology and program stakeholders
• Embed metadata, business glossary, lineage and data quality practices
• Support adoption of governance tooling  like Collibra, Informatica, Atlan, Alation or Microsoft Purview
• Apply governance requirements to migrated datasets and enterprise data platforms
• Drive stakeholder engagement, organisational change and adoption

What we’re looking for:

You’ll have strong hands-n data governance implementation experience within a large, complex organisation, ideally government or a regulated environment.

You’ll be comfortable translating governance frameworks into practical processes and bringing stakeholders 

along the journey.

Sydney | Hybrid, minimum 50% in office

12-month contract

Australian Citizenship required | Must be able to obtain Baseline clearance
