Your Role

As a Support Worker, you’ll provide personalised care and support to older individuals, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and connected to their community. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing essential services such as personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, and medication support.
  • Helping clients stay active and engaged through social support and transport services.
  • Observing and reporting any changes in health or well-being to the coordinator.
  • Promoting independence and choice while ensuring a high standard of care.
  • Creating meaningful connections with clients and their families.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking kind-hearted, proactive individuals who are passionate about aged care and community services. To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Community Services (essential)
  • A current First Aid Certificate & SA Driver’s Licence (essential)
  • A reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance (essential)
  • DHS NDIS Worker Screening Check (essential)
  • Experience working with older people in a home care setting
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on dignity and choice
  • The ability to work independently and within a team
