About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MR Truck Driver to support a regional maintenance crew in Albury. You will drive the crew truck for daily operations and call-outs while assisting with routine road maintenance activities as required.

Position: MR Truck Driver
Pay Rate: $48.94 per hour
Location: Albury, NSW
Roster: 9-day fortnight
Expected Duration: ASAP until 24 December 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the crew truck for daily operations
  • Transport crew, equipment and materials
  • Attend scheduled and operational call-outs
  • Assist with pavement and pothole repairs
  • Support guardrail and signage maintenance
  • Assist with traffic control activities
  • Maintain guide posts and roadside assets
  • Complete rubbish and debris collection
  • Perform general maintenance and Road Worker duties as required when not driving
  • Follow WHS and safe work procedures

About You

  • Current MR Driver Licence or higher
  • Current White Card
  • Current Workers on Foot certificate or willing to obtain
  • Traffic Control ticket or willing to obtain
  • Truck driving experience in an operational environment
  • Road maintenance or civil experience advantageous
  • Comfortable undertaking physical outdoor work
  • Reliable, safety-focused and team-oriented
  • Available to attend call-outs when required
  • Willing to complete a Police Check
  • Able to provide two recent employment references
  • Valid Australian working rights required (no visa sponsorship available)
