With a strong reputation for delivering essential services to the community, this organisation is seeking a commercially minded finance leader to oversee financial operations and support strategic decision-making.Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead the finance team and take ownership of the organisation's financial management, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance activities. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys partnering with stakeholders while maintaining strong financial control and governance.
Your new role
- Lead the month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support business performance
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Oversee cash flow management, treasury and financial controls
- Develop and mentor finance team members
- Partner with operational leaders to drive continuous improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
- CA/CPA qualified
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar leadership role
- Strong financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting expertise
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders across the business
- Experience leading and developing finance teams
- Strong systems and process improvement capability
- Healthcare, community services, professional services or multi-site experience will be highly regarded
