Payroll Manager | Non for Profit  | $120,000 - $130,000 + Super + Salary Packaging|  South of the River

We are working exclusively to recruit a Payroll Manager to take ownership of an end to end payroll function and lead exciting system and process improvements.
 
As the Payroll Manager, you will:

• Manage the full payroll cycle for 800+ employees.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of wages, benefits, and deductions.
• Maintain compliance with legislation, awards, and Enterprise Agreements.
• Lead payroll audits and improve governance.
• Deliver monthly payroll reporting and insights to the Executive Team.
• Drive system improvements, automation, and workflow efficiencies.
• Oversee payroll reconciliations and work closely with Finance and HR.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Payroll Lead.
• Provide guidance to managers across the organisation on payroll processes.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves improving processes.
What You’ll Bring
Essential

• Strong experience managing payroll in a medium organisation. 
• Ability to interpret and apply complex awards and Enterprise Agreements.
• Proven leadership capability and a passion for developing people.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and communication style.
• Strong problem-solving ability and sound judgement.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
